Hide and Seek
Certainly life is an element of hide and seek and especially so in fashion. What do we choose to show or hide and what are we looking for?
The theme of appearance and reality rings for me with the following work by Frederique Daubal, a French artist that cut out pages from fashion magazine, sliced them and made masks resembling Muslim niqabs. Disconcerting for some but riveting and thought provoking still.

Marvelling at Mogollon
Joined behanced.net and am undoubtedly bowled over by the tremendous creativity the site plays host too so I thought I would start with profiling various designers from the site starting with Mogollon, a boutique style art direction studio from Brooklyn, NY.
